About The Position

The Sales & Catering Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Sales & Catering department. This role partners closely with Sales Managers, Catering Managers, and hotel leadership to support revenue-generating initiatives, client engagement, and system accuracy. This position is ideal for an organized, motivated professional who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment and is interested in building a long-term career in hotel sales, catering, or events within the Remington Hospitality portfolio.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of administrative experience, preferably in hospitality, sales, or events
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, service-focused attitude
  • Training will be provided on hotel systems, brand standards, and departmental processes to support success and career growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with group room blocks or hotel reservations systems a plus
  • Experience with Lightspeed and Marriott CI a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Sales & Catering team to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for client inquiries, phone calls, and internal requests
  • Assist with proposal preparation, contracts, correspondence, and client follow-up
  • Support group room block management, including block setup, maintenance, and monitoring of pickup
  • Assist with coordination of internal meetings, site inspections, sales initiatives, and client visits
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and sales databases in accordance with brand and hotel standards
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Uphold Sheraton service standards while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners
