About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking a highly organized, hunter-mindset, detail-oriented professional to help our client grow their client base as a Sales / Business Development Representative. This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person company meetings and events within the DC metropolitan area. Candidates must be local to the DC area.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of successful appointment-setting and new business development experience
  • Proven track record as a hunter in an outside or field sales environment
  • Strong prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable operating without provided leads - this role requires full-cycle outbound effort
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Experience selling MSP services, IT services, or Microsoft solutions (M365, Azure, security, etc.)
  • Familiarity with B2B technology sales environments

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities within a protected territory
  • Independently set and manage your own meetings and sales pipeline
  • Execute outbound sales activities including cold calling, email outreach, and in-person meetings
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and uncover client needs related to Microsoft solutions and managed services
  • Qualify opportunities and hand off engaged prospects for solution alignment and close
  • Consistently meet or exceed appointment-setting and revenue-related goals
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM tools
