About the Role We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to expand our market share in Low Voltage Systems and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with contractors, integrators, and end-users.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Sales/Business Development Representative, successful as a Hunter, specifically within IT infrastructure. MSP a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of IT and familiar with Low Voltage Systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tools: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite to maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license for traveling to customer sites.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively prospect and pursue new business in IT systems and Low Voltage Services via cold calling, email, and networking to build a robust pipeline.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Own the full sales cycle from initial cold outreach to closing contracts and handover to project teams. Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations to showcase value, tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
  • Technical Consulting: Conduct site walk-throughs, interpret blueprints, and recommend tailored technology solutions.
  • Proposal & Estimation: Prepare detailed, accurate project proposals, cost estimates, and bids ensuring profitability and minimizing waste.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high-quality service, system education, and satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, consultants, and direct customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current with evolving IT, security, and low-voltage technologies. Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to provide feedback for product improvements.
  • Strategic Planning: Upsell new products, services, and upgrades to existing customers to enhance performance and security.
