About The Position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation Toyota Irvine is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process in a no-haggle sales environment, interacting with them online, over the phone, and in person. This involves timely response to leads, answering questions, providing information, and facilitating the transition from initial contact to an in-store experience, all while ensuring an exceptional customer journey. The role also includes assisting customers in selecting vehicles, negotiating terms to align with their lifestyles and budgets, closing deals, and providing post-purchase follow-up to ensure satisfaction and support their ownership experience by connecting them with the Service department. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Prior sales experience, retail preferred
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • The willingness to follow up with customers
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record

Responsibilities

  • Interact with hundreds of customers – online, over the phone and in person – to help guide their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle sales environment
  • Respond to leads in a timely fashion
  • Answer questions
  • Provide information
  • Help guide customers effectively from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience while providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Help our customers select their perfect vehicle
  • Negotiate terms to ensure that payment options meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations
  • Close the deal
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience both before and after purchase
  • Drive loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Help transition customers to the Service department to support their ownership experience
