The Role + Purpose As a Sales Assistant, you’ll support the Sales and Merchandising teams with day-to-day wholesale operations. You’ll help keep orders, product information, and selling tools accurate and organized—while supporting seasonal market preparation and follow-up in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone early in their fashion career who’s eager to learn wholesale fundamentals and merchandising process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Internship or 0–2 years of experience in fashion, wholesale, or retail
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Positive, proactive attitude and interest in wholesale + fashion merchandising

Nice To Haves

  • Showroom and/or market internship experience
  • Exposure to wholesale systems or order management tools
  • Basic understanding of department store or specialty retail environments

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Managers with administrative and operational needs
  • Enter, update, and track orders; maintain clear status notes and follow-through
  • Prepare and maintain selling tools (line sheets, order recaps, selling decks/tools)
  • Respond to basic account requests and information needs, escalating when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate product details (styles, pricing, delivery windows)
  • Organize seasonal assortments and SKU lists; keep shared documents current
  • Track best sellers and support basic sales performance reporting
  • Support sample management for internal use and market needs
  • Support market preparation (materials, samples, product info readiness)
  • Support post-market organization (recaps, updates, documentation, follow-ups)
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, and DTC Merchandising partners to keep work moving
  • Help resolve basic order/shipping questions through organized tracking and communication
  • Maintain organized files and shared documents; support general office/showroom tasks as needed
  • Run weekly sales reports and assist with routine data updates
  • Support basic sales and inventory analysis (as needed for reporting and recaps)
