About The Position

The Sales Assistant will assist the sales team with day-to-day duties and assist customers as needed. FLSA: non-exempt (Hourly) Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and retain basic product knowledge.
Ability to professionally communicate with management and coworkers.
High School diploma required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers as they enter and establish immediate rapport by following approved customer service scripts and policies.
Ask brief qualifying questions to identify customer needs (buy, lease, service, browse).
Direct customers to the appropriate sales associate, department or waiting area.
Maintain an organized, clean and professional showroom and reception area.
Monitor showroom traffic and ensure no customer is left unattended.
Collect basic customer information and log it in the CRM or lead sheet.
Offer basic product information and escalate detailed product or pricing questions to sales associate.
Coordinates test-drive scheduling and notify sales associate when customers are ready.
Manage phone and front desk inquiries; handle simple appointment confirmations and cancellations.
Ensure compliance with privacy, safety and brand presentation standards.
Assist with initial paperwork and ensure sales associate receives completed lead forms.
Perform light administrative tasks; updating digital displays, replenish brochures, track waiting times.
Must stay up to date on all company and manufacturer required trainings throughout employment with the company.
Performs other duties as assigned.
