At MCA, we are seeking a Sales Assistant (in other companies this person could hold the title of Sales Support Specialist, Sales Coordinator, or Sales Operations Assistant), responsible for supporting all aspects of the sales process. In this role, you will assist in creating orders, entering customer and product data into systems, resolving logistics and customer service issues, and collaborating closely with the sales team and administrative staff. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong planning, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize and work independently are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders and gather necessary details.
• Handle phone, email, and fax orders.
• Field incoming calls for sales reps.
• Make purchases as directed.
• Stay up to date on in-process orders.
• Create and manage part numbers in the system.
• Research product information as needed.
• Ensure prompt customer service follow-up.
• Manage customer returns and RMAs.
• Update order statuses and communicate updates.
• Receive drop-ship items and handle delivery logistics.
• Prepare quotes and register vendor deals.
• Provide backup for purchasing and coordination roles.
• Assist with customer service projects and logistics.
• Track software renewals and customer records.
• Support warehouse coordination and other assigned tasks.
