About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our growing sales team at our corporate headquarters in Hockley, Texas. This role plays a key part in supporting customer relationships, assisting sales operations, and contributing to overall business growth. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is ideal for someone looking to build a career in sales or business operations. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our corporate headquarters in Hockley, Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (exception may be made for candidates with significant, proven sales experience)
  • One (1) to three (3) years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate toward shared goals
  • Willingness to travel out of state and internationally as needed
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with growth opportunities into a Sales Manager role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing customer accounts, including communication and follow-up
  • Support sales efforts by analyzing basic sales and market information
  • Help monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and product trends
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations using compiled data
  • Assist with order processing, inventory coordination, and issue resolution
  • Provide customers with product, promotion, and pricing information as needed
  • Maintain communication with current and past customers regarding products and services
  • Support customer satisfaction efforts and assist with resolving post-sale issues
  • Help identify prospective customers through research and lead follow-up
  • Provide product samples and catalogs and assist with product recommendations
  • Perform administrative sales duties, including recordkeeping and account follow-up
  • Assist with trade shows, sales events, and preparation of materials
  • Visit customers as needed to support sales and relationship development
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
