About The Position

Morgan Murphy Media in La Crosse, WI, is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team as a point of sales support. This position serves as the primary support staff for the Director of Sales and Sales Department. On top of providing a fantastic entry-point into broadcast media and sales, this role will give the winning candidate a chance to learn about the different components that go into making a high-performing sales team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day department tasks (order entry, reporting)
  • Create and assist in executing new programs within the department
  • Utilize industry research tools to formulate station positioning resources
  • Build sales proposals and other marketing materials
  • Help in planning and executing station events
  • Attend in-house meetings with station staff
  • Back-up the Traffic Department when necessary
