Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ISA Certified Arborist
  • Florida Commercial Applicator License (or ability to obtain within a short timeframe)
  • 4+ years of arboriculture, tree care, or PHC experience
  • Proven track record of success in sales, estimating, or consultative field work
  • Strong tree identification and diagnostic skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Consultative sales approach with strong closing skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • High personal accountability, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems independently
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to collaborate with crews and office staff to deliver smooth service
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and capable of adjusting as the territory grows
  • Interested in taking on greater responsibility and leadership over time

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, consultative tree and plant health assessments
  • Diagnose issues in the field and recommend appropriate services
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline capable of generating $1M+ in annual revenue
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals in a timely manner
  • Educate customers on proper tree care, PHC programs, and service options
  • Maintain strong follow-up habits to ensure high close rates and strong customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term relationships with homeowners, HOAs, and local partners
  • Represent Joshua Tree Experts with professionalism and integrity
  • Maintain clear communication throughout the service lifecycle
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure client expectations are met
  • Work closely with the owner and office team to schedule work efficiently
  • Provide clear job scope details to crews and assist with setup when needed
  • Offer insights and feedback to help refine and optimize local processes
  • Model JTE's culture of safety, professionalism, and customer-first service
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and the ability to pivot as the territory grows
