About The Position

This position is a key role for our senior living community, Tapestry Senior Living - Lakeshore. It provides sales and marketing leadership for the community, move-in coordination for new residents, and drives external business development efforts to reach the greater community area. The role offers deep personal and professional satisfaction. The company's philosophy emphasizes person-centered care. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license as some travel is required
  • An outgoing personality, superior communication skills and strong customer service orientation required.
  • Must present a neat, clean appearance and demonstrate a positive, cheerful attitude
  • Compassionate, ethical, and friendly demeanor when working with residents, families, and team members

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year degree in marketing or human services, preferred
  • Prior experience in marketing to seniors, in sales, senior housing, long-term care insurance, hospitality or an appropriate healthcare/personal care background, preferred
  • Proven track record of marketing/sales results, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate resident and family relationships to generate leads, conduct tours and assess candidates’ needs. Qualifying financially and physically eligible candidates and working towards a move-in commitment by every qualified candidate.
  • Follow-up with prospective residents and family members through phone, mail, email, and in-person visits to encourage/obtain a move-in commitment.
  • Develop and maintain productive internal and external marketing strategies, including referral sources and community relationships.
  • Increase and maintain occupancy levels, track and trend resident movements, become the central point of contact for all prospective residents and manage the move in/assessment process in collaboration with the community management team.
  • Complete/submit all required budgets, reports, analyses, and forms in a timely manner.
  • Identify, create, and distribute appropriate promotional materials designed to generate additional inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, executive director, and other community staff.
