Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associates’ degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years industry-related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other productivity tools to support communication, documentation, and data management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and details simultaneously, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Hardworking.
  • Physical ability to preform heavy work, exerting up to 10lbs of force occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of transformers, equipment oil, and waste‑disposal processes is preferred.
  • Degrees/Certificates: Not required but will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • The Sales and Business Development Representative is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with existing and prospective customers within the designated sales territory. This sales role places a strong emphasis on in-person client engagement to foster trust, address needs, and drive business growth.
  • Develop strong strategic partnerships with current and prospective customers within an assigned sales territory.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including primary discussion points, service concerns, product feedback, available equipment for purchase, satisfaction levels, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, customer satisfaction data, and insights that inform product development opportunities.
  • Become familiar with in-house software used to provide quotes and bids.
  • Manage customer communications via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure consistent account engagement.
  • Plan and execute customer engagement initiatives such as satisfaction surveys, skills training, developmental programs, and special events.
  • Travel up to 50% within the designated territory, prioritizing in-person client visits to strengthen rapport and support sales objectives.
