About The Position

The Sales Analyst will be responsible for delivering sales reports based on national distributor sales tracings and direct sales results, calculating GPO fees and sales commissions, creating data dashboards to monitor sales performance and provide customer retention insights through the analysis of sales and marketing data, GPO and Distribution program compliance and other resources. This position will support business intelligence and decision-making process and have access to a variety of tools and methods including ERP, CRM, national distributor and business partners sales reports and other databases. The Sales Data, Pricing and Contract Administrator will also ensure supervised pricing and quotes consistency and compliance with contracts and pricing policies, as well as consistent customer mapping with GPO affiliations, split by current regional map and assignment to the right Regional Sales Manager. The role will be responsible for communicating cross-functionally with sales organization, finance, marketing and sales partners. The candidate should demonstrate business awareness through intellectual curiosity, data accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. The role will be a key catalyst for driving data driven Sales Analytics within the organization which will place both the Customer at the core of Sales and Marketing initiatives. Specifically, the Sales Data, Pricing and Contract Administrator will successfully build a collection of Analytical Products which will inform and influence decisions related to wholistic performance, customer behaviors, personalization as well as impact of all marketing activities on both online and offline. The Sales Data, Pricing and Contract Administrator will help to build best practices for analytics and educate others within the organization to use data in decision making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
  • 1+ years professional experience using SQL to construct data models and develop actionable insights
  • 2+ years professional experience data visualization experience in Tableau or similar
  • Sales, marketing, customer, operations, supply chain or retail analytics experience required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proven expertise in MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot preferred) and ERP system (D-365 preferred)
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and on project teams
  • Strong critical thinking skills and creative approaches to test new ideas and drive business results.
  • Flexible communication style to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from varying backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-tools is a plus
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based data systems is a plus
  • Proven success influencing and collaborating within a team and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with project life-cycle management tools (e.g. JIRA and Confluence) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sales / Customer Analytics and Sales Performance Measurement Develop and deliver on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting to provide Sales & Marketing leadership clear visibility to direct and channel sales performance
  • Calculation of GPO fees in accordance with contractual termsCalculation of sales commissions for W2 employees and 1099 reps
  • Synthesis data to provide trend metrics to retain and grow existing customers, and identify opportunities for business (e.g. broader product portfolio sales)
  • Provide forward looking analytics and reporting to provide visibility for business planning and marketing plan development
  • Addressing Ad Hoc analytics requests across marketing, omni channel and customer behavior subject areas
  • Implement New Data Management Tools, Test Design, measurement and business performance optimization
  • Recommend and implement new tools that can automate data gathering process, consolidation and analysis (e.g. Excel Track)
  • Develop test measurement plans and control groups to analyze learnings
  • Work with sales, marketing and cross-functional teams to develop learning agendas and support testing plans to provide sound test results to help evolve the business performance
  • Support personalization efforts by designing and testing various activities that drive desired customer actions, and continuously optimize performance based on test results
  • Maintain efficient database and report dataflows through sound data engineering approaches
  • Sales administration, Pricing and Contract Compliance
  • Platform administration (ERP-D365, Definitive Health) to enable efficient customer mapping by GPO affiliation, assignment to the right region and RSM, as well as Sales Pipeline analytics (Deals per value, stage, affiliation, owner)
  • Maintain records and supervision systems of GPO and national distributors contracts and Pricing/Quotes to drive compliance with terms and internal policies
  • Monitoring of actual sales versus price tier commitments and addressing any discrepancies as well as opportunities for sales revenues, price, margin optimization
