The Sales Administrator position works directly with account managers, Store leaders, and supply staff to assist, promote, market, and sell the complete range of products offered through the Trane Supply Channel. This lineup includes OEM parts, installation and service supplies, 1 to 25 ton equipment, rentals, and more. Success in this role involves collaborating with Trane Supply Account Managers, store leaders, Retail Ops Leaders, and the purchasing team, as well as equipment and rentals product managers, to increase sales and strengthen customer relationships. The successful administrator will also be an active and positive influence in the branch store, providing ongoing mentoring and leadership to inside personnel. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrated competency in consultative, relationship, listening, and strong organization skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC products and HVAC systems applications
  • Highly self-motivated, goal oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated competence in computer usage
  • Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing

Responsibilities

  • Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
  • Keep records and reports up to date
  • Help maintain the budget plan
  • Organize and schedule meetings and events
  • Supervise other staff and delegate responsibilities
  • Handle technical issues in their area of expertise
  • Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents
  • Maintains customer data files
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Possesses strong knowledge of the all Trane Supply product lines, and is be able to enthusiastically demonstrate and discuss with customers
  • Provide backup support for all supply-oriented sales
  • Develop multiple relationships with key players internally and externally
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required
  • Regular day travel requirements with some overnight travel
