About The Position

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following key duties: Develop and implement a regional sales growth strategy to expand into new territories and maximize existing accounts. Identify customer needs and collaborate with the Marketing department to develop innovative products that meet market demands. Generate accurate revenue forecasts and work closely with the Sales Director to create comprehensive budgets. Promote Smiths Interconnect's products and capabilities to potential and existing clients. Analyze key performance indicators using the CRM system to track and improve sales performance. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, facilitating connections between Smiths' executives and key customer contacts when appropriate. Represent the company at industry events, technical conferences, and other sales-related functions as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on connectors and test products
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct field sales experience in a relevant industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, subject to current travel restrictions
  • Strong technical comprehension with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in organizing and conducting virtual customer visits and presentations
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to comply with ITAR regulations for specific accounts
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in verbal and written form using the English language.
