Sales Account Manager
About The Position
Koch Finishing Systems is seeking a Sales Account Manager with experience in industrial paint and coating systems to support our growing customer base. This role is focused on solution-based technical selling of custom paint finishing systems for manufacturing and surface coating applications. We are looking for an individual who understands industrial paint processes, can build strong customer relationships, and can translate customer needs into engineered solutions. You will represent custom-engineered paint finishing systems used by manufacturers across multiple industries and work with an experienced technical team to deliver practical, high-value solutions to customers. Requirements
- Experience selling industrial paint systems or related finishing and coating equipment
- Strong knowledge of paint and coating processes (liquid, powder, or both preferred)
- Proven success in solution-based or technical B2B sales
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales opportunities for paint systems and related finishing equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and new prospects within manufacturing and finishing industries
- Lead solution-based sales efforts by identifying customer requirements and coordinating technical solutions with engineering
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical concepts
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical reviews
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting information
- Support trade shows and industry events as needed
