About The Position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, pursuing qualified sales opportunities, supporting larger enterprise pursuits, and ensuring accurate proposals and pricing. This role works closely with Solution Architects and Sales Operations to uphold Knight Watch’s commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales or account management experience (preferred)
  • Experience with proposals or RFPs a plus
  • Background in security, technology, or integration services preferred
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to learn and apply complex solutions
  • Collaborative, team-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with proposals or RFPs a plus
  • Background in security, technology, or integration services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small-to-medium commercial accounts
  • Drive account retention, satisfaction, and incremental growth
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Maintain consistent, proactive client communication
  • Pursue inbound and BDE-sourced leads
  • Conduct early discovery and qualification
  • Support new business development efforts
  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and RFP responses
  • Partner with Sales Operations on documentation and registrations
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards
  • Work with Solution Architects on solution design
  • Support Account Executives and Enterprise Directors
  • Participate in pipeline and forecast reviews
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Track activity, forecasts, and customer interactions
  • Follow established sales workflows
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching
  • Develop toward an Account Executive role
