About The Position

We’re seeking a motivated Safety Superintendent with an associate degree in Construction Management, or a related field and 30-hour OSHA certification. The right hard-working Safety Superintendent is in charge of providing on-site coordination for all phases of the construction projects and shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done and confidently represent the firm, including committing the firm on schedule and cost matters within approved parameters. Our new Safety Superintendent will Evaluates job hazard analysis reports and provide safety orientation for subcontractors working on our sites. MCN Safety Superintendents ensure that safety training programs follow company standards, governmental laws, and regulations, and work with supervisors and managers to identify safety issues and topics to be addressed. Safety Superintendents also keep up to date with the latest issues and methods regarding safety, accident prevention, hazards, and other topics. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Construction Management, or a related field
  • 30-hour OSHA certification required
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite program
  • Possess an optimistic and positive attitude
  • Must be able to succeed in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and complete assigned work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Some travel may be required depending on business needs.

  • Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 with up to 10% in an annual discretionary bonus
