About The Position

Support the Corporate Safety Manager in achieving organizational safety goals and objectives. Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and observations across company locations to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist managers and supervisors with incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and the development and implementation of corrective actions. Help identify training needs and support the coordination and delivery of safety training programs. Collaborate daily with the Service and Parts departments to foster and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related education preferred, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Safety Industry or similar.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management, computer, organization, planning, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Individual must have the ability to work with others, internally and externally to achieve the company’s Safety & Environmental goals.
  • Must be able to travel to all eastern PA branch locations throughout the week.

Responsibilities

  • Support supervisors in promoting and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Assist in the implementation and ongoing management of company safety programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Perform safety observations and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of corrective actions, follow-up on action items, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Provide assistance to third-party compliance consultants as needed.
  • Organize and conduct monthly safety meetings, including the preparation and development of meeting materials.
  • Support the use and administration of safety management software.
  • Assist with meeting customer-specific safety and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the industrial hygiene program, including monitoring and data collection efforts.
  • Deliver various safety training sessions upon achieving necessary qualifications and certifications.
