About The Position

The Safety, Security, and Operations Specialist is a high-utility, hybrid professional responsible for the protection of Frontier Mint’s physical site and the integrity of its operational data. This individual serves as a critical investigative resource for all departments, utilizing "down-time" during the overnight shift to conduct high-level research, inventory auditing, and facility oversight. This role is designed for a self-starter who can transition seamlessly from tactical security patrols to complex data reconciliation, providing the vital bandwidth needed to scale the department and support company-wide growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma required, Associate degree or higher preferred
• Must be able to work an overnight shift
• Schedule may change based on the needs of the growing company
• Ability to periodically work different shifts/schedules/weekends as needed
• Military, security, and or law enforcement experience; minimum of (4) years’ experience
• Valid Utah Security License preferred
• Valid Utah Drivers’ License with a clean driving record
• Ability to arrive to work on time
• Ability to pass, and continue to pass a detailed background check, credit check, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Inter-Departmental Research & Inventory Support Investigative Research: Act as the primary internal resource for all departments requiring in-depth research. Utilize high-definition security footage and ERP transactional data to reconstruct events, identify errors, and resolve operational mysteries.
• Inventory Partnership: Serve as a vital partner to the Inventory Manager. Actively research inventory discrepancies and provide dedicated security and administrative support during Quarterly and End-of-Year Inventory counts.
• Loss Prevention Analysis: Conduct systematic reviews of shipping audits and video archives to identify patterns of loss or process failure; initiate "package recalls" when shipping errors are detected.
• Labor Compliance: Conduct nightly audits of employee timecards and attendance records, reconciling entries with physical access logs to ensure total accuracy in labor reporting.
• Safety & Security Operations Visible Presence: Provide a visible security presence to ensure the protection of all company assets, leadership, employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Surveillance & Access: Proactively monitor multi-site security cameras, access control, and other loss prevention tools to ensure protocol adherence.
• Randomized Patrols: Complete daily interior and exterior patrols; identify and clear hazards and ensure all spaces are secure.
• Asset Protection: Deter and report property loss, damage, or conditions that may create security escalations or financial losses.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
• Facilities & Vendor Management Vendor Lifecycle: Source, vet, and onboard local contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.); establish long-term relationships and maintain an up-to-date database of compliance and insurance documents.
• Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify needed repairs, safety hazards, and security issues.
• Emergency Response: Manage 24/7 emergency response protocols; act as the primary contact for after-hours facility-related emergencies and utility failures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility meets all safety regulations, local building codes, and OSHA/Fire Safety standards.
