We’re hiring a Safety Manager to take ownership of jobsite safety across NuuCo projects. This role is responsible for leading safety training, inspections, compliance, and incident response while partnering closely with project teams to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA, WISHA, and company standards. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of construction safety management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards and WISHA requirements
  • Experience supporting active jobsites and working directly with field crews
  • CHST Certification
  • OSHA 500 Certification
  • First Aid / CPR Certification
  • Strong field presence with the ability to influence safe behavior at all levels
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to identify risk, solve problems, and respond effectively in the field
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to partner with project teams

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical or industrial construction experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead job-specific safety planning, training, and onboarding for all field personnel
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety walks, audits, and inspections
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and safety violations; document findings and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, WISHA, and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Review and monitor subcontractor safety programs and jobsite compliance
  • Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and provide task-specific safety training
  • Plan and deliver safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety workshops
  • Accompany safety, health, and insurance inspectors during jobsite walkthroughs
  • Maintain accurate safety files, records, and required reports
  • Support the development and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures
  • Serve as a visible safety leader who models and reinforces a safe, injury-free work environment
