About The Position

This role provides on-site construction safety leadership for active commercial construction projects in the Naples, Florida area. The Safety Manager will support project teams by partnering closely with field leadership to ensure strong safety execution, continuous improvement, and a proactive, people-first safety culture. Limited travel within Florida may be required to support additional projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction safety experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on active commercial construction sites
  • Passion for construction and field operations
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Outstanding communicator with the ability to translate complex safety concepts into clear, actionable guidance
  • Ability to confidently lead safety stand-downs and influence behavioral change
  • Entrepreneurial team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong personal integrity with the highest ethical standards
  • Ability to thrive in a positive, high-energy, collaborative environment
  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Safety Manager within commercial construction environments
  • Minimum OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training (required)
  • Ability to prepare and deliver continuous improvement PowerPoint training sessions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, and Bluebeam
  • Passion for learning and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative safety solutions

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 preferred
  • CHST or higher strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior safety leadership and work closely with field operations leadership to support successful project safety execution
  • Conduct regular, documented jobsite safety inspections, recognizing positive behaviors and addressing safety infractions
  • Partner with onsite Superintendents to provide guidance and ensure timely corrective actions
  • Train and monitor onsite employees to promote leadership and safe work habits across project teams
  • Lead monthly safety training sessions with onsite project teams
  • Uphold company safety policies on assigned projects and promote proactive safety thinking
  • Serve as a safety leader and role model, fostering a positive and engaged safety culture
  • Support limited travel as needed to assist projects in other Florida divisions
