Job Summary To maintain the Corporate Safety Management System in compliance with authority’s regulator’s, industry and/or customer requirements. Ensure effective implementation of all safety and equipment related aspects of the Fueling operations and provide management with regular reports on performance and the status of corrective and preventive actions. The expected pay rate is $70,000/yearly. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to muti-task and manager multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to persuade, gain support, obtains commitment, and mobilizes others to actions
  • Flexibility in hours and days of work is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Some training experience or educational background in training is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Chairman of the Safety Committee
  • Conduct Safety Briefings and Safety Committee meetings
  • Submits all monthly safety meting minutes and briefing reports to Swissport corporate
  • Verify that all safety procedures are being followed regarding PPEs, seat belts, speed, and proper driving techniques. Takes appropriate action when issues are discovered and reports to upper management.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment fleet. Ensuring that all user checks are done daily and accurate reports are kept, PMs are performed as scheduled.
  • Coordinates with the local repair and maintenance representative to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in service.
  • Assures that the Equipment Monthly Hour Readings are done and reported
  • Assures that all Workers Compensation claims, equipment damage and building damage issues are entered into SMT within 24 hours of occurrence
  • Conduct specialized OJT training on equipment checks and usage such as tugs, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of safety and equipment related records for all regulatory entitles as required by Swissport Fueling Services
  • Liaise with Fueling Manager/departmental managers to understand aspects and needs of safety training and development.
  • Other assignments regarding safety and equipment as assigned by management.
