Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in occupational safety and health/industrial hygiene or equivalent experience in industrial safety preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing safety role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identification, determination of applicability and timely communication of potential impact in Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) area.
  • Implement Henkel’s SHE programs and policies.
  • Ensure each assigned manufacturing site is compliant with federal, state, and local environmental and occupational health regulations as well as monitoring, communicating, and executing implementation of changes.
  • Provides appropriate training to internal customers as prevention measures in SHE area.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization.
  • Report out on monthly sustainability and SHE metrics for assigned sites and generate recommendations to improve safety and environmental outcomes.
