About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Safety Culture and Transformation Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and initiatives that promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement in safety performance across the organisation. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of driving cultural change in a complex environment. You will be passionate about safety and have a deep understanding of the principles of human factors and safety management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in a safety management role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive safety culture across the organisation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of safety management systems and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on safety-related matters.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess compliance with safety standards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on safety regulations and best practices, and ensure that the organisation is in compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety performance through the implementation of innovative programs and initiatives.
