The Safety Coordinator will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. This role is responsible for both field and office safety operations. Essential duties include inspecting facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, developing and implementing inspection policies and procedures, and scheduling routine inspections. The coordinator will also develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company, prepare and schedule training on emergency procedures and workplace safety, and monitor compliance with these procedures. Further responsibilities include drafting inspection reports, maintaining material safety data sheets, and keeping records of discharge or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants. The Safety Coordinator will also perform other related duties as assigned.
