About The Position
The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. The Safety Coordinator position is responsible for developing and implementing safety or health programs, reviewing reports for compliance with safety protocols and performing safety inspections.
Requirements
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- Two years of experience in safety operations or inspection, incident management, or emergency services.
- Additional administrative, safety operations and/or inspection, incident management, or emergency services experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates and/or develops safety training programs.
- Trains employees in safety.
- Performs safety inspections per regulations.
- Performs in-depth analysis of safety program.
