About The Position

R+L Carriers has immediate openings for a Safety Compliance Coordinator at their Wilmington, OH Service Center. This full-time, night shift position, with a set schedule working Monday through Sunday, is responsible for reviewing and processing all DOT & Non-DOT drug testing results. The incumbent will also assist with general Safety Department administrative responsibilities, including handling phone calls related to citations/inspections, vehicular accident event recording, call-in complaints from the motoring public, and completing/notifying injury reports.

Requirements

• Ability to learn in house/external computer programs such as Risk master, Legacy, Pathfinder, and Corrective Action Dashboard
• Efficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Able to handle high volumes of phone and email communication
• Skill in triaging communication to the correct person or department
• Must work in a confidential capacity
• Time management skills; prioritize for deadlines
• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED

Responsibilities

• Review and process all DOT & Non-DOT drug testing results
• Aid in general Safety Administrators responsibilities shared in the department, including general phone calls received in Safety Department, citations/inspections, vehicular accident event recording, call in complaints from motoring public, and injury report completion/notification
• Field phone calls / email follow-up regarding crash events, spills, violations, citations, driver qualification and ELD issues
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the office after business hours
• Provide thorough communication via reports, email, and verbal follow-up with staff regarding PM and weekend recorded incidents
• Organize and maintain files and records
• Prepare and edit correspondence and reports
• Provide quality customer service
• Coordinate first responders to serious crash event scenes
• Answer all phone calls/emails in a timely and professional manner
• Accurately report the details of the overnight events
• Accomplish other duties as assigned
• Perform other ad hoc, temporary, and permanent duties as assigned
