About The Position

The responsibilities of this position will vary but will primarily focus on developing and implementing safety plans, conducting training, managing risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners. The role requires frequent interaction with employees across departments and external vendors and subcontractors. The standard work hours for this employee are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional overnight travel to customer and office sites. This position is one we hold in high regard in order to provide the level of service excellence our customers expect and deserve. Specific duties to include:

Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree or 1-2 years of experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety management practices.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to employees and customers.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to interact with customer, co-workers, and other personnel at all times
  • Commitment to integrity and Company Standards and Procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must

  • Familiarity with pre-qualification platforms (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans.
  • Organize and conduct safety training for employees, including certifications such as first aid, fall protection, and equipment operation.
  • Lead major project kick-off safety meetings and new hire onboarding related to safety.
  • Provide weekly safety topics and maintain compliance tracking.
  • Conduct equipment and office inspections to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate pre-qualification and risk management processes with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and resolve related issues.
  • Respond to onsite incidents or near misses, providing support and follow-up investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Oversee fleet operations for the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety activities, certifications, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Support internal audits and inspections as needed.
