About The Position

Involved with the overall safety and compliance function and performs administrative functions related to compliance in relation to CEVA’s policies, procedures, federal and state regulations. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in similar role in transportation or supply chain related industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications and ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to utilize databases and systems to review and verify documentation and information.
  • Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
  • Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.
  • Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and operate in both a team and individual contributor environment.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the department’s database systems.
  • Coordinate the company’s substance abuse program for drivers.
  • Assist with contractor relations issues.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support including recordkeeping, invoice payment and problem resolution to ensure compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Approve, grant, monitor and maintain access to department databases.
  • Research pre-qualification issues and address with the station, vendor or state agencies.
  • Assist management with bid information.
  • Perform data entry and ensure contractor deductions are processed.
  • Research and assist in the resolution of contractor issues and complaints made by the contractor, company employees or a third party.
  • Assist in the gathering of information for litigation requests.
  • Assist Department Manager and Division Sr. V.P. as needed with projects.
  • Order, monitor and maintain the department’s office supplies. Provide necessary documentation for new vendor set-up.
  • Monitor and maintain files and vendor accounts.
  • Maintain Weekly Status Reports.
  • Review, research and resolve discrepancies on weekly reports, incidents, accidents and records.
  • Process incoming accidents and incidents; escalate severe accidents and incidents to management.
  • Answer incoming calls, voicemails and e-mails.
