Safety and Compliance Coordinator
About The Position
As our Safety & Compliance Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in protecting our patients, visitors, and employees across all CHCS facilities. You'll lead the charge in environmental safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness - ensuring our organization operates at the highest standards. You won't just check boxes - you'll drive real impact by: Leading our Safety Team and conducting regular safety meetings Overseeing OSHA, HIPAA, HRSA, CLIA and other regulatory compliance efforts Conducting safety inspections, hazard surveillance, and internal audits Coordinating fire drills, severe weather planning, active threat training, and more Developing and maintaining Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations Plans Preparing for regulatory surveys and accreditation reviews Promoting a culture of compliance, accountability and ethical conduct In short: you'll help ensure CHCS is safe, prepared, and compliant - every single day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of safety or compliance-related experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
