At Commvault, the Velocity Account Manager plays a vital role in driving the expansion and retention of our existing SaaS accounts. This position is designed for a strategic inside sales hunter with a keen focus on nurturing and expanding relationships within our current client base. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of account growth, including renewals, cross-selling new products, and customer satisfaction, ensuring the continued success and expansion of our SaaS offerings. This role is perfect for someone who is capable of nurturing long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving significant account growth. Requirements

  • Preferred 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Strong understanding of technology products and the broader SaaS market, skilled in clearly and effectively communicating complex product features and advantages.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets within a SaaS environment.
  • High level of professionalism and customer-centric approach, with exceptional skills in negotiation and problem resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, SFDC, and other sales and customer relationship management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all business interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire account lifecycle from renewal to expansion, demonstrating a proactive approach in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to assess their needs and align our solutions to their business goals, ensuring sustained account growth and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions to client needs and inquiries.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each account’s unique challenges and opportunities, crafting customized strategies to maximize value and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer support and product teams to address any product-related issues or enhancements that will benefit the client, enhancing their overall experience and satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track account activity, sales progress, and lead management, ensuring all account information is up-to-date and communications are logged and followed.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and customer loyalty targets, maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities for account growth.
