As an RV Warranty Manager Trainee , you'll work closely with our experienced team to learn the full warranty process: from claim intake and documentation to submission, follow-up, and resolution. This structured training program (6-18 months) prepares you to step into a Warranty Manager role, with hands-on experience in RV systems, manufacturer relations, and customer service. No prior RV warranty experience required—we provide comprehensive training, including RVIA courses and shadowing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business, automotive tech, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets for tracking & reporting).
  • Excellent communication skills—professional phone/email etiquette and customer-focused mindset.
  • Clean driver's license; willingness to inspect RVs occasionally at our Phoenix-area service centers (minimal travel).
  • Ability to thrive in a shop/service setting with occasional outdoor work.

Nice To Haves

  • Any experience in automotive/RV service, customer service, claims processing, or administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with RV components (plumbing, electrical, appliances, slides) or interest in learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and processing warranty claims: Gather photos, repair orders, and documentation from service techs and customers.
  • Learn to verify coverage under manufacturer warranties (e.g., Forest River, Jayco, Thor, Lippert, Cummins) and extended plans.
  • Support claim submissions to manufacturers and vendors via online portals; track status and follow up on approvals/reimbursements.
  • Help maintain accurate records in warranty software (e.g., IDS) and prepare basic reports on claim trends.
  • Shadow customer interactions: Handle basic inquiries about warranty coverage, lemon law basics, and repair status.
  • Participate in team audits of repair invoices for compliance and accuracy.
  • Attend manufacturer training sessions and RV-specific courses (paid by company).
  • Contribute to process improvements as you gain knowledge, aiming for faster resolutions and higher approval rates.
