About The Position

This position is responsible for executing and performing basic maintenance-related duties This position requires the ability to perform a variety of custodial & repair activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to be trained and use maintenance equipment & tools properly and safely.
  • Establish successful working relationships with co-workers, the public and use good professional judgment, with honesty & integrity in decision making.
  • Employee must be able to interact with the public in a professional manner with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work cooperatively with other maintenance staff members and follow all directions & assignments as received.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Ability to meet standards of appearance.
  • Can communicate well with the guests.
  • Regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, feel & operate objects, tools, equipment, or controls, required to lift and reach with hands & arms.
  • Required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, crouch, & climb; talk to or hear customers and employees.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RV experience desirable but not necessary.
  • Looking for a willingness to follow directions and perform general landscaping, maintenance, and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various landscaping duties including but not limited to pulling weeds, watering trees, pruning, grass trimming/raking, laying sod or see, repairing/replacing fencing, improving drainages, installing signs, etc.
  • Paint picnic tables, and/or interior & exterior of building.
  • Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms & shower facilities, cleaning sites, litter pick-up, general upkeep of the campgrounds.
  • Escorting guests to sites
  • Assist with special event set-up, & trash management.
  • Assist with simple plumbing repairs.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment including but not limited to mowers, line trimmers, & chainsaws.
  • Abide by payroll policies, procedures (timecards), Meals, and Rest Periods policy and OLS Rules of Conduct.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all RV safety and security procedures as required maintaining a secure and safe environment for Team Members as well as guest.
  • Report any unusual occurrences and/or request to the Manager.
  • Read and abide by all the regulations and rules of conduct stated in the Team Member Handbook.
