About The Position

Overview Responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs to RV Park grounds, landscape and facilities. Will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, irrigation, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. Responsibilities Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines. Assists guests with RV utility and cable services. Empties cleans, scrubs inside and outside of trash receptacles and recycle receptacles. Cleans windows, mirrors, restrooms and showers. Cleans debris from sidewalks, pathways, and paved areas with the use of brooms, shovels, pressure washers, etc. Cleans and maintains pool area, tests chlorine and PH levels and add chemicals when needed. Inspects, tests, performs general maintenance and maintains machinery and equipment. Provides service, lubricates and changes necessary parts and materials to equipment. Assembles and moves furniture, equipment or other items as needed. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Utilize hand tools with moderate skills. Ability to operate power washers, steam cleaners, power hand tools, trimmers, lawnmowers, compact utility tractors, and other equipment as needed. Ability to climb ladders in order to clean vents, lights, and service areas. Ability to follow lighting charts to change lights accordingly. May operate tractors, aerial lifts and powered industrial lift trucks as needed. Ability to tow and back up a loaded or unloaded trailer. Must immediately report any safety concerns to supervisor. Sweep, mop, seal, scrub, wax and vacuum floors and carpets. Preparing and grading terrain, applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns, and transplanting shrubs and plants. Plants new and repairs established lawns, using seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for particular soil type and lawn location. Locates and plants shrubs, trees and flowers selected by management/owner or those recommended for particular landscape effect. Mows and trims lawns and cleans grounds. Trims shrubs and cultivates gardens. Sprays trees and shrubs, and applies supplemental liquid and dry nutrients to lawn and trees. Attaches wires from planted trees to stakes to support trees. Hauls or spreads topsoil. Waters lawns, trees and plants. Builds forms for concrete borders, mixes and pours cement for garden borders and places decorative stone. Digs trenches and installs drain tiles. Makes repairs to concrete and asphalt walks and driveways. Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Related experience and/or training in the maintenance/construction field. 1-5 years of Landscaping experience preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Able to obtain & maintain a Jackson Rancheria Gaming License Ca. Class C Drivers license required - Must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent. Operator’s certifications for aerial lifts and powered industrial lift trucks must be obtained at next available onsite class (A California Driver’s License is required to complete the mandatory department equipment training). Pay range: $21.00 - $27.30 per hour Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am. This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.

Requirements

Related experience and/or training in the maintenance/construction field.
Able to obtain & maintain a Jackson Rancheria Gaming License
Ca. Class C Drivers license required - Must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent.
Operator’s certifications for aerial lifts and powered industrial lift trucks must be obtained at next available onsite class (A California Driver’s License is required to complete the mandatory department equipment training).
