The Department of Economic Security, Office of the Director (OOD) / Governance and Innovation Administration (GIA) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Rules Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Deputy Rules Administrator, this position is responsible for high-level work of considerable complexity in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the effectiveness of projects related to the development, writing, and promulgation of Department rules. This role provides leadership, training, and technical assistance to the Department regarding drafting and preparation of administrative rules and reports. Assists in the development of agency rulemaking documents and statutorily required reports in compliance with the Arizona Administrative Procedures Act. Assists in the development of processes and procedures for implementing Department rulemaking and day-to-day administration of the Governance and Innovation Administration (GIA) Rules Unit. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
