As the Royalties Payable Coordinator, you'll be responsible for royalty accounts payable, reconciliation of royalty statements to sub-systems and ensuring payments are made in line with the contract.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance/Royalties department preferred
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data filtering and formatting)

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with NetSuite, Jira, iMaestro a plus

Responsibilities

Enter royalty bills and bill credits from royalty processing system
Prepare quarterly payment runs in line with contractual payment terms
Review tax forms (W-9 & W-8BEN) for royalty vendors
Review and maintain royalty vendor information in accounting system
Reconcile royalty statements to balances in the finance system and royalty processing systems
Calculate and record royalty client VAT and WHT amounts where applicable
Prepare out-of-cycle royalty payments as requested
Provide assistance with royalty client inquiries
Assist with other projects as needed
