The role also includes identifying property ownership, determining valuations, obtaining survey permissions, preparing acquisition documents, negotiating property rights, settling damage claims, acquiring licenses and permits, reviewing project progress, providing construction support, appraisal negotiation, and relocation assistance. Extensive contact with the public is typical, and work is performed in all types of weather conditions, potentially involving walking over rough and hilly terrain.
