Operational Oversight & Coordination - Monitor daily routing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company, customer, and transportation guidelines. Plan, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to the routing team. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors/carriers. Audit routing procedures and shipment preparation to ensure adherence to customer requirements and established processes. Issue Resolution, Analysis & Compliance - Research and resolve routing issues, discrepancies, and service failures. Maintain accurate shipment records in accordance with transportation and regulatory guidelines. Identify trends and areas for improvement, and recommend or implement corrective actions to improve performance and compliance. Team Development & Performance Management - Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to team members. Monitor performance against expectations, ensure appropriate staffing coverage, and address performance issues through coaching and corrective action when necessary.
