The Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in delivering our mission and achieving our goals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the delivery function which includes safely operating a motor vehicle, delivering merchandise and customer service. You will be expected to pull and prepare orders to be delivered to customers and ensuring that deliveries are timely and correct via established routes. You will complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise per company procedure and/or customer/vendor instruction. You will maintain an orderly vehicle and will be expected to follow company policy regarding vehicle maintenance, services and driver policies. The Branch location for this position is: 9100 Winkler Drive, Houston, TX 77017

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen.
• At least a high school diploma.
• 6 months of driving experience preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record (within the last 3 years) is necessary.
• Ability to interpret instructions
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to sit for several hours at a time

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise using necessary machinery and tools
• Operate forklifts
• Perform daily DOT inspections
• Ensure orderly vehicle
• Complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, services and driver policies
• Assist the inside sales representatives and/or warehouse personnel as needed
• Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance
