About The Position

As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests in the comfort of their own rooms. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders, while providing friendly and efficient service. The Room Service Server is responsible for receiving orders, preparing orders and delivering items to guestrooms in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in-person.
  • Input orders into the point-of-sale system and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
  • Transport food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely manner.
  • Present orders professionally, ensuring proper food presentation and temperature.
  • Set up tables and chairs in guest rooms as needed.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
  • Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms after service.
  • Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
