Base salary starts at $15.73/hr . E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S Visits with each patient to take their order, helping the patient follow the prescribed diet order. Assists with tray assembly, delivers trays to patients, and picks up trays. Records calorie count information and charts meal intake. Assists the kitchen as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Must have current, valid BLS certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Must have the ability to learn how to chart oral intake of meals in the Electronic Medical Record.
- Must have the ability to obtain Diet Orders and RSA reports from the Electronic Medical Record.
- Must have the ability to complete therapeutic diet training and attend monthly diet education in-services.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of hospital therapeutic diet orders.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one (1) year food handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
