About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse in charge of the department, the room attendant assists the nurses in providing quality patient care of the hands-off type. This includes passing ice, water, towels, wash cloths, making beds, turning beds down, cleaning/tiding up rooms, etc.. The room attendant also interacts with other departments, performs cleaning, and restocks supplies, all under the direction of the professional nurse. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred but not required
- Ability to obtain Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification within 6 months.
