About The Position

The Connally Hotel Downtown Atlanta is a restored historic gem featuring 156 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and 900 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Located in the heart of one of Atlanta’s most exciting cultural and entertainment districts, we pride ourselves on delivering comfort, quality, and exceptional service to every guest. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and comfortable stay for our guests by ensuring guest rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards of hospitality.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and take initiative
Physically able to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for extended periods
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Dependable, courteous, and professional demeanor
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel environment preferred

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities.
Ensure guest rooms and corridors are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent service with professionalism.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the appropriate department.
Follow all hotel policies, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Support team members and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.
