The Room Attendant at My Place Hotel – Plainfield, IN, is crucial for providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest experience. This role involves maintaining guest rooms and public areas to company standards, ensuring all spaces are well-stocked, sanitized, and prepared for occupancy. Success in this position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality work. The attendant is responsible for daily servicing of assigned guest rooms and common areas, which includes thorough cleaning of all surfaces, floors, and furnishings. They also refresh rooms by restocking approved guest supplies, checking room features (like televisions, remotes, smoke detectors, and HVAC units) for proper function, and performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks like cleaning HVAC filters, ice buckets, windows, and high-touch surfaces. A key part of the role is changing and inspecting linens on every bed, fully cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (including vanities, toilets, tubs, mirrors, and floors), and vacuuming all designated areas, removing debris from behind and under furniture. Prompt reporting of any maintenance or repair concerns and secure handling of master and room keys are also essential. Beyond room duties, the attendant manages housekeeping carts and storage areas, empties vacuums, disposes of trash to designated areas, and assists with deep cleaning projects as scheduled. This position demands dependability, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently while consistently upholding quality standards, along with a positive attitude and dedication to guest satisfaction.
