About The Position

As a Rodman at LJA Surveying, you will be responsible for transporting and setting up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey

Requirements

HS Graduate or GED
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
Must be able to lift 25lbs

Responsibilities

Party Chief gives direction for this position
Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey
Clear brush or trees away from survey line
Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements
Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points
Measures how far different points are from each other Horizontally
Helps with various pieces of survey equipment
willingness to travel
