About The Position

Survey Helper/Rodman works as survey helper, assists Party Chief and Instrument Operator as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• No experience is needed for the Rodman position.
• Effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Party Chief and Instrument-man as directed
• Performs field tasks, including but not limited to; brush clearing, tree cutting and pipeline probing
• Responsible for loading and unloading of vehicle, boat and/or off road vehicle
• Regular cleaning of vehicle, boats, buggies, and equipment
• Assures that all needed supplies are on hand for job, i.e. flagging, nails, hammers, lumber, sweeper etc.
• Cleans all equipment and charges electronics for next day
• Makes sure all ice chests and water coolers are full and clean
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
