A Robotics and Automation Instructor teaches students how to design, program, operate, and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated industrial equipment. They provide both classroom instruction and hands-on lab training to prepare learners for careers in automation, robotics integration, and advanced manufacturing. This is a full-time, 176-day instructional position with an opportunity for a continuing contract status that is contingent upon Board approval and funding. Teaching assignments may include variable hours at various sites, including days and/or evenings. Teaching assignments may include variable modes of instruction including face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes. There may be opportunity to teach during the summer semester.
