Requirements
- Experience as a Field Engineer, Surveyor, Party Chief, or Crew Chief
- Proficiency with Leica robotic total stations, Carlson, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of construction surveying practices and principles
- Higher-level math skills (algebra and trigonometry)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skill
- Commitment to safety and teamwork on the jobsite
Responsibilities
- Perform field layouts and construction surveys using Leica robotic total stations
- Lead survey teams as Party Chief or Crew Chief, assigning tasks and ensuring project milestones are met
- Process survey data and drawings using Carlson and AutoCAD
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Collaborate with project teams to solve field challenges and ensure accuracy
- Work outdoors in all weather, at heights, on your feet for extended periods, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
