About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a core member of ProMedica’s patient care team, dedicated to providing world-class, patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. ProMedica nurses are committed to improving health outcomes for patients and communities. In this role, the RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. Key responsibilities include assessing and formulating nursing diagnoses, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. The RN will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and continuously strive to improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, serving communities across nine states. It offers a range of services, including acute and ambulatory care, a dental plan, and academic business lines. Requirements

  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR training
  • Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
  • Complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period (for RN in Ohio)
  • At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules (for RN in Ohio)
